Job Duties Scrap Yard Worker:
- Assist customers with unloading scrap metal from vehicles and trailers
- Sort metals by type and place in designated areas
- Weigh materials using a scale and complete customer tickets
- Prepare metals for processing using shredders and shears
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Operate equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and bobcats (training provided)
