Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and work instructions
• Willingness to complete required safety training programs

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in general labor, construction, manufacturing, scrap metal, recycling, or industrial environments preferred
• Experience using cutting torches or similar equipment preferred
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work throughout the day
• Experience operating landscaping or groundskeeping equipment is a plus

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy metal materials and scrap
• Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in dusty, dirty, and industrial environments
• Ability to safely operate equipment and maintain awareness of surroundings

Job Duties

• Sort, move, and process scrap metal and recyclable materials
• Load, unload, and transport heavy metal products and scrap throughout the yard
• Operate a cutting torch after successfully completing required Hot Works safety training
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and personal protective equipment requirements
• Perform general facility and yard maintenance duties
• Assist with mowing, weed eating, groundskeeping, and other outdoor tasks as assigned
• Support daily operations and complete additional duties as needed

Work Environment & PPE Requirements

• Work performed outdoors in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions
• Steel-toed boots and sleeved shirts required
• Denim jeans required
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• Exposure to dirt, dust, scrap materials, and industrial equipment on a daily basis
