Job Scope
Troubleshoot, maintain, repair and conduct preventative maintenance on all facility equipment. Primary focus will be on maintenance and repair of large stationary equipment.
Essential Functions
Maintain plant productivity and up time by proactively performing a comprehensive maintenance function, including parts inventory and tools management, preventative maintenance, root-cause analysis and minor fabrication and design activities.
Inspect and conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment
Maintain and implement maintenance management software and create PM schedules, track maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts
Identify and order spare parts, track inventory physically and in software system
Assign, review and check work of maintenance done by production labor employees, providing on-the-job training as needed
Design, weld, torch, and otherwise fabricate minor modifications to the plant equipment
Responsible for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and PLC systems.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned or directed.
