We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Operations Team Member will be responsible for a variety of duties dependent upon the need for the day, while providing participants, members and/or guests an excellent experience in every aspect. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Ensure correct equipment is available for games, and proper set up of all play areasEnsure games start on time and are scored accuratelyMonitor all game play areas including turf and courtsMaintain and control trash in all areas of the park and buildingsMonitor, maintain and service restrooms in all areas of the parks and buildingsConsistently communicate issues and relevant updates to your supervisor and applicable Team members Assist with the coordination of all programming and applicable events Assist other departments as necessaryComplete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by managementGreet guests and provide answers and directions as neededProvide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staffBe knowledgeable about prices, leagues, and eventsReport all incidents, accidents, injuries, and altercations to GM, AGM, or MODKnow and enforce the facility's policies, procedures, and rulesTake one shift-lead responsibilities that are earned/awarded based on merit & experienceKeep book during gamesAccurately operate scoreboardAdditional tasks assigned by management THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:2-4 years of experience in the Sports/Recreation fieldStrong eye for detail and safety compliance Experience operating an electric scoreboardExperience in coaching or mentoring athletes or childrenProven success in being a quality team memberExperience with baseball, softball, soccer, football, lacrosse, basketball, pickleball and/or volleyball eventsExperience and success in customer service, leadership, and organizationAction-oriented personality with a 'get it done' attitude and proficiency for efficiencyMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Can work with a wide variety of age groupsFlexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance necessaryExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust have excellent guest service skillsMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situationsMust be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow Team MembersMust work well with othersMust take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facilityCommitment to the safety and wellbeing of othersHave sports experience or an interest to learnWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend into awkward positions while performing job functionsFacility has intermittent noiseWill be required to operate a computerMust be able to walk intermittentlyMust be able to safely operate a Utility Vehicle
