A Scoping Engineer oversees the construction planning for an upcoming telecommunication project. The role combines feasibility assessment, deciding service drivers, what material is required and customer support.
• Scope And Execution Management: The position analyzes and develops SOWs and BOMs, collaborates with RF design, determines construction methodology and required materials, resolves design challenges and material deficiencies, manages plans of record for pre construction.
• Partnership And Team Support: The manager works with Site Acquisition Managers, RF teams, customers, suppliers, service providers, and cross-functional internal groups; provides training and mentorship; prepares production and material reports; presents project status in terms of scoping; and gives performance-related feedback.
• Qualifications And Resources: The position requires at least 10+ years of related industry experience, basic technology or trade coursework, experience with macro cell site systems and RF optimization, site feasibility and design consulting, construction standards, permitting and environmental compliance, budgets and contracts. Familiarity with Anritsu, OTDR fiber testing, Microsoft Office, databases, Ericsson tools, and EHS standards is expected; Ericsson equipment experience is a plus.
