    The Graduate Assistant will provide administrative and program support to the Assistant Dean's Office, with a primary focus on supporting the MBA program and enhancing the student experience. Responsibilities will include assisting with program coordination, event planning, student communication, office administration, and special projects. The Graduate Assistant will also provide limited teaching and tutoring support to faculty as needed.

    Specific Responsibilities Work Schedule

    This position provides up to 20 hours of support per week during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.). Any anticipated need outside of these hours requires at least two weeks' prior coordination.

    Job Duties

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Coordinate, plan, and implement a variety of programming for the MBA program, including professional development activities, speakers, community service opportunities, and networking events for MBA students.
    • Provide administrative support to the Assistant Dean's Office and MBA program, including preparing documents and meeting materials, maintaining records and files, tracking program information, and assisting with special projects.
    • Assist with coordinating MBA and college events, including scheduling, communications, room reservations, catering, event materials, and day-of-event support.
    • Support communication and outreach to MBA students, faculty, alumni, and external partners, including preparing emails, announcements, surveys, promotional materials, and other program communications.
    • Assist with student support by responding to general student inquiries and directing students to appropriate resources, offices, or personnel as needed.
    • Support faculty as needed with teaching and tutoring responsibilities. While the primary scope of work focuses on administrative intern duties, some teaching assistant responsibilities will also be included.
