    About the Role

    The Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Supervisor will be responsible for leading supplier sourcing, cost optimization, and contract negotiations while supporting import and domestic procurement operations. The role focuses on developing a competitive supplier base, driving cost reduction initiatives, and ensuring long-term supply stability through strategic partnerships. Location: Commerce, CA 90040. Reports to: SCM Purchasing Manager. Employment type: Full-Time Employee. Department: West SCM.



    Requirements

    Responsibilities

    • Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
      • Lead supplier sourcing activities for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
      • Identify, evaluate, and qualify new domestic and international suppliers.
      • Develop and maintain a competitive and diversified supplier base.
      • Conduct RFQ/RFP processes and benchmark supplier pricing and capabilities.
      • Build long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
    • Cost Management & Negotiation
      • Lead price, MOQ, lead time, and payment term negotiations.
      • Analyze cost structures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
      • Develop and execute annual cost reduction and value improvement plans.
      • Monitor market trends and material cost fluctuations.
    • Contract & Compliance Management
      • Lead contract development and renewal in collaboration with legal teams.
      • Ensure all procurement contracts reflect negotiated terms and company policies.
      • Monitor supplier compliance with quality, regulatory, and ethical standards.
      • Support audit and documentation requirements.
    • Data Analysis & Performance Management
      • Track supplier KPIs including cost, quality, delivery, and service level.
      • Prepare sourcing and procurement performance reports.
      • Utilize ERP/SRM systems for data-driven decision making.
      • Support inventory optimization and demand planning initiatives.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration
      • Support new product development through early supplier involvement.
      • Align sourcing strategies with business growth plans.

     

    Qualifications

    • 3-5+ years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
    • Experience with international sourcing and import operations
    • Excellent analytical and communication skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred)
    • ERP/SAP/SRM system experience (preferred)
    • Working proficiency in Korean (reading and writing) (preferred)

    Compensation

    $55,000.00 To $78,000.00 Annually
