Rate: $35-48/hr on W2 (DOE)

Overview
This position requires a hands-on experience in molecular biology, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and molecular diagnostics to support the development and optimization of advanced sequencing assays.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract cell-free nucleic acids from clinical plasma, whole blood, and FFPE tissue samples.
- Perform and optimize NGS library preparation, targeted enrichment, and methylation sequencing workflows.
- Execute high-throughput sequencing operations using the AXELIOS 1 sequencer.
- Conduct laboratory experiments, analyze results, troubleshoot workflows, and recommend follow-up experiments.
- Collaborate with molecular biology and bioinformatics teams to improve sequencing performance.
Required Qualifications
- Background in molecular biology, genomics, or a related life science field.
- Good understanding of NGS library preparation, targeted enrichment, and sequencing.
- Hands-on experience with nucleic acid extraction and clinical specimens.
- Experience with methylation sequencing or assay optimization is highly desirable.
- Preferred Experience: Experience with cfDNA, FFPE samples, and high-throughput sequencing platforms.
