Join Our Client as a Scientist - III (Senior) and Make an Impact in Neuroscience Research! Location is Lansdale PA
Are you a passionate scientist with a deep expertise in in vivo pharmacology and rodent pain models? Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Scientist to lead the design, execution, and advancement of preclinical pain pharmacology studies within our dynamic Neuroscience Department. In this pivotal role, you will directly contribute to groundbreaking discoveries in pain targets, enhancing our understanding and developing innovative therapies that can transform lives.
Pay $70/hour to $72/hour
What Youll Bring to the Table:- A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years, a Masters degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Biology, Physiology, or a related field.
- Extensive hands-on experience with rodent behavioral pharmacology, especially mouse pain models.
- Proven ability to perform surgical procedures for rodent pain studies and conduct behavioral assessments such as Von Frey testing and static weight-bearing evaluations.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Nice to Have Skills:- Experience with osteoarthritis, inflammatory, neuropathic pain, or neuroinflammation models.
- Knowledge of PK-PD study design, biomarker collection, and analysis.
- Familiarity with electronic data capture, statistical software, and supporting antibody or small molecule discovery programs.
- Interest in expanding expertise into in vivo electrophysiology studies.
- Ability to coordinate with CRO partners and animal-care staff.
Preferred Qualifications:- Onsite role with a schedule of 8:30 am 4:30 pm EST, Monday through Friday.
- Prior experience supporting translational pharmacology initiatives andadvancing neuroscience portfolios.
Additional Requirements:- Ability to perform rodent handling, dosing, tissue collection, and surgical procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining detailed, accurate study records and reporting findings.
