Overview
Professor Mirkin's research lab focuses on understanding the mechanisms underlying the instability of DNA repeats implicated in hereditary human diseases and cancer.
What You'll Do
Works in collaboration with the senior investigator in the host laboratory. Works independently to participate in or lead a portion of research projects involving the analysis of complex genomic databases and genome-wide analysis of experimental data generated in the lab. The Scientist II contributes ideas and suggestions to the research effort, operates independently, and publishes papers in collaboration with the senior investigator. This individual may have other responsibilities in the laboratory, such as supervising staff, training graduate students or postdoctoral fellows, writing grant proposals, and writing papers.

Pay Range
Minimum $81,200.00, Midpoint $101,600.00, Maximum $120,900.00
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
