Description

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Scientist II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Rahway, NJ, 07065.Details of the position are as follows: 
 
Job Description: 
  • Pay: $50.00- 53.45/hr to start.
  • 1 year contract with the possibility of extension or conversion based on budget and performance.
  • Shift: Monday- Friday, standard day shift.
  • Position will mainly be responsible for designing and executing hypothesis-driven formulation and process-development experiments for sterile pharmaceutical products, preparing formulation buffers and reagents, executing development batches and fill-finish activities using appropriate aseptic techniques, and supporting solution and lyophilized formulations.
  • Responsibilities also include conducting formulation characterization and analytical studies using pH, osmolality, viscosity, particle-size measurements, DLS, and HPLC, supporting stability and stress studies, analyzing data, and documenting findings in laboratory notebooks, protocols, and technical reports.
  • Position will also be responsible for drafting and executing development protocols, maintaining accurate laboratory records, supporting equipment and laboratory readiness, collaborating with analytical, manufacturing, and scientific teams, applying relevant literature and technologies to improve processes, and following all applicable safety and site procedures.
 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor, Master, or PhD is required.
  • Monoclonal antibody formulation experience is required.
  • Pre-filled syringe and vial experience is required.
  • Experience following GLP regulations is required.
  • Experience is MS Excel is required.
  • Basic wet chemistry experience, osmolality, pH, or viscosity is required.
