We are seeking a Scientist - Analytical Testing (Proteins & Biologics) to support characterization and release testing of biological therapeutics in a regulated laboratory environment. This is a hands-on, testing-focused role where you will execute established analytical methods, support high-throughput workflows, and contribute to data integrity and compliance.
This role is ideal for early-career scientists seeking to build technical expertise in protein analytics, biologics testing, and regulated lab environments (cGMP/GLP).
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine analytical testing to support biologics characterization and release
Execute established methods with full ownership of sample preparation, analysis, and documentation
Conduct testing using:
LC-based methods (e.g., HPLC/UPLC)
Plate-based assays for protein characterization and impurity analysis
Support high-throughput workflows, including automated liquid handling systems
Analyze and review data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Troubleshoot routine method and instrumentation issues
Maintain detailed, audit-ready documentation in alignment with cGMP/GLP standards
Apply scientific knowledge to method execution and data interpretation
Collaborate within a small, team-oriented lab environment to meet project timelines
Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with:
ELISA, CE-SDS, PCR
HPLC/UPLC methods (RP, IEX, SEC, etc.)
Familiarity with lab systems such as Empower, SoftMax Pro
Experience operating laboratory instrumentation (plate readers, HPLC systems)
Understanding of regulated environments (cGMP/GLP) and documentation standards
