Job Title: Scientific Technician
Job Description
The Scientific Technician independently performs, interprets, and troubleshoots laboratory procedures related to unit and donor suitability testing and other required assays. This role conducts routine analytical testing using both manual and automated methods, analyzes results against established controls, and ensures all work complies with current Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory standards. The position offers an excellent entry point into the medical field for candidates with a bachelor's degree, providing training in donor processing and manufacturing within a structured and supportive laboratory environment.
Shift: Monday through Friday - 2:30PM - 10PM

Work Environment
This position is based in a lab and office environment at a donor processing and manufacturing facility, working Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The role follows a set shift with no on-call responsibilities and no STAT lab demands typical of hospital settings, providing a predictable and structured daily operating rhythm. The laboratory operates under current Good Manufacturing Practices and strict regulatory and safety standards, including comprehensive Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies. Employees use analytical instrumentation, technical laboratory equipment, and laboratory information systems in a professional, positive work setting. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
