Ability to work independently and in a team setting performing both simple and complex tasks Troubleshoot basic fluidic and electronic components Strong communication skills In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Ensure operation of custom automated laboratory equipment by completing preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with IDT's quality policyTroubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidic, and optical devices/systems, as well as PLC controlled systems.Practices safe working habits, follows all IDT safety policies, identifies, corrects, and reports potential safety hazards. The essential requirements of the job include: · High School diploma or GED · Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office · Knowledge and use of a variety of hand tools It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: · Reading and interpreting blue prints and equipment schematics · Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
