Description

We are a national staffing firm currently seeking a Senior Scientific Publication Manager for a prominent client of ours. This position is a hybrid position located in North Wales, PA. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Description:
  • Pay: $61.54/hr
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, hybrid (3 days onsite; flexible days)
  • This role supports global publication planning and scientific communications within a pharmaceutical environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate global publication plans and manage cross-functional Publication Teams.
  • Track publication activities, timelines, and deliverables using the Datavision publications database.
  • Facilitate publication meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain meeting notes.
  • Manage relationships with medical communications agencies, freelance writers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support journal and congress planning, including presentation trackers, document submissions, and author coordination.
  • Assist with publication budgets, reference requests, bibliography management, and study data packages.
  • Maintain publication SharePoint and repository sites.
  • Ensure compliance with publication policies, ICMJE recommendations, CONSORT, and Good Publication Practice guidelines.
  • Support publication compliance training and scientific communication strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's/PharmD with 1–2+ years of experience in a scientific discipline or publication management.
  • Experience in publication management, scientific communications, or a related pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
  • Understanding of clinical development, clinical study data, and scientific publication standards.
  • Familiarity with Good Publication Practice, ICMJE recommendations, and CONSORT guidelines.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects, and working with external vendors.
  • Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with publication databases, Microsoft Office, and document management systems.
  • Experience with Datavision is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively across global teams.
