Gore Public Schools is seeking a high school science teacher for the second semester (Spring 2027).
Job Description:
- Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with Oklahoma state standards
- Manage a safe, effective classroom environment where students can learn and experiment
- Assess student progress through labs, tests, projects, and daily work
- Maintain accurate grade records and communicate regularly with students, parents, and administration
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities
- Collaborate with fellow teachers on curriculum and student support
Required Qualifications - Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate (or near completion of one)
- Bachelor''s degree (or near completion of one)
- Content knowledge in one or more science areas (biology, chemistry, physical science)
- Ability to build rapport with high school students and manage a classroom effectively
