Science Teacher

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Two classes of Honors Anatomy and Physiology for grades 10, 11 and 12 QUALIFICATIONS B.S. is required, masters level preferred; Biology and chemistry teaching experience is preferred; Must be able to work collegially, be committed to working in a diverse community, have experience working and communicating with diverse populations, enjoy working with young people in a boarding school environment, and have a valid drivers license. The successful candidate will be deeply invested in a student-centered pedagogy, providing authentic, hands-on learning experiences, will have enthusiasm and appreciation for working with adolescents, will be a collaborative member of the teaching faculty, and will desire to deepen their teaching practice through innovative ideas and research-based best practices.

This is a part-time science teaching position covering two sections of Honors Anatomy and Physiology. SALARY RANGE $18,000 - $20,000 per year. Please note that the quoted salary range is not a guarantee of the final salary offer. Variables include years of work experience, industry-specific experience, education level, etc.
