Job Requirements.

• EducationRequirements: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or Communication Sciences and Disorders) from an accredited program; ASHA/CSD coursework as required for licensure.
• CertificationsRequirements: Current Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain); ASHA CCCs or ability to obtain/maintain (as required by the school district).
• ExperienceRequirements: 1+ year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (preferred experience in school settings or pediatrics); experience providing speech and language therapy, assessments, and progress documentation.

JobResponsibilities:

• Provide school-based speech-language services including assessment, therapy, and documentation aligned with district and educational requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students through IEP/education team processes and individualized treatment planning.
• Evaluate and monitor speech/language needs, update progress notes, and maintain required records in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement goals/strategies to address communication, language, articulation/phonology, fluency, and/or social communication needs.
