Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services in a K-12 educational setting. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, active state SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans/IEPs
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Provide speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing services
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Complete required documentation and billing
- Participate in discharge planning, family meetings, and education
- Supervise Speech Therapy Assistants, CFYs, interns, and students as needed
