Job Requirements.
- EducationRequirements: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program OR equivalent degree required for school social work licensure/placement
- CertificationsRequirements: Appropriate Illinois school social worker certification/licensure (or eligibility to obtain); valid professional credentials required for assignment in a school setting
- ExperienceRequirements: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience working with children/adolescents in a school or related setting; experience supporting students and families with social/emotional and behavioral needs
- OtherRequirements: Standard Requirements; days schedule; 37.5 hours per week; ability to collaborate with school staff and families; strong communication and documentation skills; professionalism and confidentiality with student information; must be able to work effectively in a school environment and support student success; background check requirements may apply per district policy (school-based positions)

JobResponsibilities:
- Provide school-based social work services to support students social/emotional and behavioral needs
- Conduct assessments and support case management for students and families as appropriate to school social work standards
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and community resources to promote student success
- Deliver individual and/or group counseling interventions aligned with student needs and district processes
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in relevant meetings (e.g., team meetings/case conferences) per district requirements
