Job Requirements.
- EducationRequirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree (interpreting-related education preferred)
- CertificationsRequirements: EIPA scoring requirement: must be able to come in at a EIPA score of 3.3 but MUST hit the 3.5 within 3 years of hire. EIPA score of 3.5 is considered the new minimum standard requirement.
- ExperienceRequirements: Minimum 1 year of interpreting experience
- OtherRequirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America on a W2 basis (no visa sponsorship). Demonstrated interpreting accuracy and professionalism in a school setting; ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and student support teams; strong communication and attention to detail; reliability and ability to work 37.5 hours per week, Days shift; must meet EIPA improvement requirement within 3 years of hire; willingness to support diverse school communities (bilingual English-Spanish communication is a plus). Background check may be required for school placements.

JobResponsibilities:
- Provide school-based sign language interpreting services for students and/or staff to support classroom instruction and communication needs.
- Interpret accurately during daily instruction, meetings, and school-related activities, maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
- Collaborate with teachers and relevant school personnel to support effective communication and student success.
- Maintain required EIPA performance standards and demonstrate progress toward meeting the 3.5 requirement within 3 years of hire.
- Arrive prepared, be reliable, and follow school and agency policies to meet the 37.5 hours per week Days schedule.
