Position Overview:
Conduct comprehensive physical and motor assessments to determine eligibility and lead the development of individualized goals within the Individualized Education Program (IEP) framework.
Design specialized PE programs for a diverse K–12 population, modifying equipment to ensure equitable access.
Manage a roving caseload across various sites, ensuring all documentation meets strict compliance standards.
Work alongside teachers, therapists, and families to integrate adaptive strategies into the broader school day.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Valid California Teaching Certification with the Adapted Physical Education (APE) Authorization (Required)
Expertise in evaluating motor skills and writing data-driven IEP goals for students with a wide range of disabilities
