Position Overview:
Deliver specialized instruction and individualized support to students with diverse learning needs by adapting curriculum and teaching strategies to promote academic growth.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), using student data and assessments to track progress and guide instructional decisions.
Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success and maintain effective communication regarding goals and progress.
Utilize evidence-based practices, educational technology, and differentiated instruction to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid Texas Special Education Certification with Generalist (K–8) endorsement
Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card (FAST)
Experience supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, cognitive, or developmental needs in a special education setting preferred
