Make a Difference
The School Registered Nurse Ambulatory provides health services to facilitate optimal physical, mental, emotional and social growth and development for students within the schools. Cares for students with chronic health issues and helps identify health needs during the course of the school day. Provides health education, medication management, emotional support and referral to higher levels of care based on student needs. Supports the education process by working to assure the health of the students. Promotes healthy habits and overall health to strengthen maximum learning. The school nurse position is located on the north side in Indianapolis, Indiana with Lawrence Township School District. The school nurse will support Forest Glen Elementary School. This School RN opening is for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year, and the nurse will start in the summer of 2026.
