Description:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work 1-on-1 with students to provide critical behavioral and academic support, assisting in the implementation of effective educational programs developed by case managers. This position involves providing direct instruction, reinforcing positive social and behavioral expectations, and meeting the specialized daily needs of students with disabilities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist assigned students in navigating their daily school routines and implementing individualized educational programs.
  • Refocus student attention to classroom tasks and directions, providing repetition and clarification as needed.
  • Engage and expand guided play with peers, modeling language specifically for peer interactions and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Offer praise for on-task behavior, validate expected social interactions, and consistently reinforce established behavioral expectations.
  • Conduct ongoing data collection to monitor student behavior and academic growth.
  • Assist with special daily needs: Support students with essential physical and medical needs, including feeding, toileting, positioning, and monitoring overall health conditions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Prior experience working within Autistic Support, Special Education, or Behavioral Health/Mental Health settings is highly preferred.
