Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - School-Based | Hermiston, OR AMN Healthcare is partnering with Intermountain Education Service District in Hermiston, Oregon to hire a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while working in a collaborative, supportive, and professional educational environment. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide services that support student mobility, functional independence, and participation in the school setting. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about helping children succeed and committed to delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist and the InterMountain Education Service District multidisciplinary team to support student success. Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist. Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor student progress and communicate observations and outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist. Maintain accurate documentation, data collection, and billing records in compliance with district and state requirements. Assist with consultative services and classroom-based interventions as directed. Communicate effectively with educators, staff, families, and therapy team members. Promote a positive, professional, and student-centered environment that encourages growth and achievement.
