Job Requirements.
- EducationRequirements: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and completion of required OT coursework/clinical training
- CertificationsRequirements: Active Connecticut Occupational Therapist license and NBCOT certification
- ExperienceRequirements: Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist; school-based OT experience preferred, with strong pediatric background supporting ASD, sensory, behavioral, and developmental needs
- OtherRequirements: Standard requirements for school-based OT roles; strong collaboration with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams; experience with IEP/PPT development, progress monitoring, and school documentation systems; ability to meet contract-specific availability and commit to a 36-week assignment; background check/compliance readiness required; legally authorized to work in the United States on a W2 basis (no visa sponsorship)

JobResponsibilities:
- Provide school-based occupational therapy services to pediatric students, supporting functional participation in academic and daily living activities
- Conduct evaluations/assessments as needed and develop treatment plans aligned with student needs, including sensory, behavioral, and developmental support
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and consistent implementation of therapy goals
- Contribute to IEP/PPT development, progress monitoring, and ongoing documentation in accordance with school requirements
- Support skill development and recommendations to improve independence, learning readiness, and classroom participation
