Description

American Traveler is hiring a COTA for a school-based position in Redding, CA, serving pediatric and school-aged clients with a flexible start date for the school year.

Details

• School-based assignment serving school sites in Trinity and Shasta counties, based out of the Redding office
• Pediatric, school-aged client population
• Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Mileage and travel time reimbursed between school sites

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required
• California Occupational Therapy license required if applicable (pending CA license accepted)
• Pediatric experience required
• New graduates accepted
• NBCOT certification preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluation, and treatment program design and implementation
• Experience with activities of daily living, autism, early intervention, handwriting, learning disabilities, neurodevelopmental treatment, sensory diet programs, sensory integrative testing/treatment, and visual perceptual skills preferred
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Facility prefers coverage for the entire school year, but shorter assignments may be considered
