A school-based healthcare organization in New York City is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time School Nurse opportunity at one of their locations in Manhattan. This role provides direct nursing care, supports student health needs, and helps maintain a safe, healthy learning environment for students across kindergarten through high school.

Shift: Day
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am to 5pm
Setting: School-based
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care and first aid to students and staff as needed
Administer prescribed medications and monitor their effects
Maintain and review student health and immunization records in compliance with public health requirements
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student health needs
Conduct health screenings and monitor for communicable illnesses
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
1+ year of Nursing experience
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS/CPR certification
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of Child & Adolescent Health, Immunization requirements, and Public Health regulations
Experience supporting students with feeding or other medical accommodations
Ability to document nursing services and maintain confidential health records
Familiarity with Health Education topics, such as Hygiene and Disease Prevention
