Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to students for injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions;
- Administer medications and manage individualized healthcare plans;
- Monitor and support students with mental health or emotional concerns;
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state health regulations;
- Educate students and staff on health topics relevant to teens (e.g., hygiene, nutrition, mental health, substance awareness).
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey;
- School nurse certificate is a plus but not required;
- CPR/First Aid certified;
- Previous experience with adolescents or in a school setting strongly preferred;
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
