Nashoba Valley Technical High School is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Substitute School Nurse to lead our health office for the Fall 2026 term. The position will begin August 31, 2026 and is anticipated through December 23, 2026.
Key responsibilities and requirements:
- Certification as School Nurse from Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification
- Experience with school-age nursing, young adult experience preferred
- Current understanding of health issues in school-age children
- Familiarity with public health requirements for public schools
- Adequate skill with computer to manage computerized health data system
- Commitment to health and well-being of school-age children
- Willingness to be a member of a system health-care team
- Ability to work well with staff, parents and students
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
