The school nurse is a member of the school''s pupil services team; this team works collaboratively, in partnership with teachers, administrators, families, and community organizations, to design and deliver a comprehensive, coordinated, and customized system of student supports. Qualified applicants must have the ability to interact in a constructive manner with students, staff, and the public.
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor''s Degree in Nursing, current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing, current CPR/AED certification and recent pediatric, public health, or school nursing experience. Experience with school nursing, IEP''s, 504 plans and school health plans desired. Additional experience desired includes health education: hygiene, allergy awareness and puberty.
