THE INS AND OUTS OF THIS ROLE
Our School Event Planner plays a key part in strengthening family engagement, enhancing school culture, and creating memorable experiences for our children and families. In this role, you will:
- Plan and coordinate preschool events, including family nights, celebrations, fundraisers, and holiday events
- Develop event timelines, checklists, and detailed supply lists
- Coordinate with vendors, volunteers, and internal staff to ensure smooth execution
- Support family engagement and community outreach initiatives
- Assist with event communication, including flyers, emails, and event sign-ups
- Ensure all events align with health, safety, and licensing standards
- Track event participation and prepare brief post-event summaries
- Maintain and manage an organized events calendar
We're looking for someone interested in a part-time, Monday through Friday schedule between 8 AM and 5 PM. Our ideal candidate can also meet the following qualifications:
- Experience in event planning, community engagement, or school-based coordination
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with families and young children
- Experience in early childhood education, nonprofit, or school settings
