    School Engagement Coordinator

    Capitol Dental Group

    Capitol Dental Group is seeking an organized, outgoing, and relationship-focused School Engagement Coordinator to support our school-based dental programs. This position will play a key role in strengthening relationships with schools, increasing the return of dental consent forms, and coordinating successful dental sealant events.

    The ideal candidate enjoys working with school staff, families, and community partners and is comfortable spending significant time in the field visiting schools throughout our service area.

    What You’ll Do

    As the School Engagement Coordinator, you will serve as a primary connection between Capitol Dental Group and our participating schools. Your focus will be increasing school engagement and student participation in our dental programs.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, office staff, nurses, teachers, and other key school contacts.
    • Develop strategies with school staff to increase the return rate of dental consent forms and student participation.
    • Coordinate the delivery and pickup of dental consent forms across approximately 160 schools.
    • Maintain an organized schedule and tracking system for consent distribution, follow-up, and collection.
    • Provide regular follow-up and in-person support to schools to encourage timely consent returns.
    • Conduct presentations and informational sessions for school staff, parents, and other stakeholders about Capitol Dental Group's school-based dental services.
    • Coordinate and organize school dental sealant events, including scheduling, school communication, logistics, and day-of-event support.
    • Help coordinate appropriate staffing for school presentations, outreach activities, and sealant events.
    • Work closely with Capitol Dental Group's clinical and operations teams to ensure schools are prepared for scheduled events.
    • Identify barriers affecting school participation or consent returns and develop practical solutions with school partners.
    • Track school engagement activities, consent results, upcoming events, and follow-up needs.
    • Represent Capitol Dental Group professionally and positively within schools and the communities we serve.

    Schedule

    • Full Time, Monday through Friday

    What We’re Looking For

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Bilingual strongly preferred
    • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with school personnel at all levels.
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage schedules, deadlines, and activities across a large number of schools.
    • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field.
    • Strong follow-through and persistence when coordinating with busy school teams.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly when school schedules change.
    • Comfortable traveling regularly between participating schools.
    • Computer knowledge and experience.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • Experience in school engagement, community outreach, healthcare outreach, education, event coordination, or a related field is preferred.
