Hours: 7 Hours 5 mins per week (Term Time Only),

Location: South Milford, North Yorkshire - Low Street

Duty times:  8.15am - 9am and 2.50pm - 3.30pm Mon - Fri (Term time)

We are currently looking for a dedicated School Crossing Patrol officer in South Milford who wants to make a real difference to their local community

The Role

Our school crossing patrols keep children and adults safe on their daily school journeys, providing a vital service to the local community.

Your duties will include:

 ·       Ensure safe road crossing for children and pedestrians during patrol times

  •        Stop traffic using the official 'STOP' sign 
  •        Conduct pre-duty health and safety checks of the crossing site
  •        Report any hazards, equipment issues, or site concerns to the Patrol Officer ·
  •        Wear and maintain approved uniform and equipment
