    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide individual and small group counseling to support students social-emotional and behavioral needs

    Deliver classroom guidance lessons aligned to school counseling standards

    Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success

    Serve as an active member of the schools Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) team, including planning and leading SST meetings.

    Assist in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans and supports

    Support crisis response and provide short-term counseling as needed

    Promote a positive and inclusive school climate

    Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with district and state guidelines

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Masters degree in School Counseling or related field

    Valid state certification in School Counseling

    Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred

    Strong understanding of child development and evidence-based counseling practices

    Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the MTSS process, including Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 supports

    Ability to analyze student data to inform interventions and decision-making

    Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
