Job Summary
We are seeking Several experienced and safety-conscious CDLSchool Bus Drivers with Air Brakes, to join our team! As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of School buses with Air Brakes while adhering to a strict schedule and ensuring your passengers’ well-being. The ideal candidate has a CDL License with School Bus Certificate and Air Brakes, Full Time and Part Time Positions are currently available. Willing to Train Qualified Candidates. Company will pay for the Training to get the CDL License and School Bus Certificate for Qualified Candidates that have Clean driving records and meet other qualifications..
School Bus Driver duties and responsibilities:
As a School Bus Driver you will interact daily with children and serves as their trusted transportation to and from school. As such, a School Bus Driver should be free of any traffic or legal violations and should have an authoritative, yet calming demeanor and a strong understanding of traffic laws.
The responsibilities and duties of the School Bus Driver position, will include the following:
- Transport children and other passengers to and from school
- Obey all traffic laws
- Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus at all times
- Ensure the safety of all students
- Verify permissions for children who ride home with friends
- Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed
- Discipline children as needed to maintain a safe environment
- Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route
- Attend safety meetings as required
