Position Summary
The BCBA provides behavior analytic services to students, staff, and families to improve student outcomes. The role includes conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, training staff, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with educational and ethical standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral evaluations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to guide decision-making.
  • Provide direct and indirect behavioral support to students.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, counselors, and related service providers.
  • Train and coach school staff on evidence-based behavior management strategies.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute behavioral recommendations.
  • Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Master' s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Valid New Mexico BCBA certification
