Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff!

PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician to support elementary and middle school students in a therapeutic school setting in McMinnville, OR. This position involves working with students with significant behavioral, social, and emotional needs, providing both 1:1 and group support.

Position Details

Location: McMinnville, OR (Yamhill County)
Pay Rate: $27–$34 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 9, 2027
Setting: Therapeutic school, elementary and middle school students
Position Type: Full-time, in-person, following the school calendar

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and group behavioral support to students with intensive needs.
Assist students with challenging behaviors, including physical aggression and elopement.
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and positive reinforcement strategies.
Support students with emotional regulation, social skills, and classroom participation.
Assist with de-escalation and crisis prevention strategies.
Collaborate with teachers, behavior specialists, and special education teams.
Maintain accurate behavioral documentation and track student progress.

Qualifications

No specific credentials or RBT certification required.
Previous experience supporting individuals with behavioral, developmental, or special education needs preferred.
Comfortable working with students who demonstrate intense behavioral challenges.
Strong communication, patience, and de-escalation skills.
