School-Based Therapist - Marshall County

Mercy Community Healthcare has an opening for a School-Based Therapist in Marshall County. We are looking for enthusiastic people with a passion for making a difference in the lives of those we serve in our community. As a school-based therapist you will provide therapy to clients within the school setting.

We provide care to the uninsured, underinsured and insured through pediatric and adult primary care, mental and behavioral health services, and care coordination.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• You will be providing therapeutic individual and group counseling services for clients and their families in a school setting through assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and referral process.
• You will respond to school crises with support of supervisor and administration team.
• You will complete clinical documentation as required by the agency.
• You will treat clients and co-workers with respect and promote an awareness of and sensitivity to the cultural backgrounds and needs of the clients served.
• You will provide consultation and training to the school, administrators, and service providers with the support of SBT Leadership.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: A master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, or another related field.

Experience: You must be fully licensed or temporary licensed in Tennessee as a LMFT, LCSW, LPC-MHSP, MMFT, LPC-MHSP (temp) or LMSW.
