Position Overview
- Provide speech and language support to elementary students in grades 3–5, helping them develop effective communication skills and participate successfully in the classroom.
- Implement individualized speech-language activities and interventions under the direction and supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and related service providers to reinforce communication goals and support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, student progress, and relevant observations.
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License required
- Two sets of fingerprints required for applicable birth–5 school clearance requirements
- School-based or pediatric speech-language experience preferred
