School Based Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

CESA 7 is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provided in-person services for multiple districts within the CESA 7 region.

Opportunity:

The Physical Therapy Assistant will function as part of CESA 7''s Special Education team, providing itinerant services to special education students in multiple school districts.

Duties:

• Provide direct therapy services to students.
• Complete therapy encounter notes and track supervisory visits.
• Communicate frequently with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding students.
• Collaborate with school staff regarding student progress and needs, as directed by the PT.
• Coordinate therapy schedule to ensure adequate coverage of all districts and students.
• Participate in PT training of teachers and other educational support staff.
• Maintain inventory and request equipment/supplies when needed.
