    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 2026-2027 School Year

    • SALARY RANGE: Maximum of 675 hours total for the year at state based minimum wage.

    • QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    • Have the recommendation of the school's principal, superintendent of schools and the Board of Education.

    • Ability to community effectively with students, school personnel, and parents, and an ability to work cooperatively with others.

    • Ability to motivate parents and get them excited about learning and achievement.

    • Computer knowledge - Microsoft Word, etc.

    • Ability to pass a state criminal background check.

    • IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: School Principal

    • JOB GOAL: To work with the school principal and staff to improve communications and public relationship between the school and the community.

    • PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

    • Maintain positive work habits;

    • Perform duties efficiently and productively;

    • Assist in scheduling meetings of parents of students participating in the program;

    • Coordinate school-wide volunteer program;

    • Assist in developing and implementing the schools public relations program;

    • Collect documentation of parent activities (i.e. agendas, sign-in sheets) and collects and logs suggestions from parents;

    • Assist with training parents to help their children gain academic achievement;

    • Create an assessment of the parent involvement, attendance records, surveys and other appropriate data;

    • All other duties assigned by principal.
