We' re seeking a dedicated Licensed School Occupational Therapist (OT) ($40-$50/hour) to support elementary, middle, and high school students in the Colorado Springs area for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualifications:
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) License with endorsement as a School Occupational Therapist (Initial or Professional)
- Experience with school-aged populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Passion for equity, inclusion, and student success
- Schedule: Part-Time (30 hrs per week, but still benefit elegible)
- Setting: School-based (Elementary, Middle, and High School)
- Assignment Dates: ASAP - May 21, 2026
As a School Occupational Therapist (OT) with PediaStaff, you ll provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to support students' academic, social-emotional, and functional development. You ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students achieve their individualized goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement OT services aligned with student IEPs and Colorado Academic Standards
- Assess student needs and provide targeted interventions to enhance motor skills, sensory processing, and independence in the school setting
- Adapt services to meet the diverse needs of students across ability levels
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that supports student growth
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and school teams to promote student success
- Maintain compliance with state/federal laws, district policies, and best practices in school-based OT
