School-Based Occupational Therapist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our team within a special education private school setting designed for children on the autism spectrum. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and follows a school-year schedule, with summers and holidays off. This position will be based in Shaker Heights, OH. 

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to assist patients in improving their daily living skills.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Ohio licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with children and adolescents with autism preferred.
