SCHOOL ADJUSTMENT COUNSELOR

Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School is searching for a School Adjustment Counselor. The successful candidate will provide direct counseling and social-emotional support to students with a particular focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions. The School Adjustment Counselor will work collaboratively with students, families, educators, and school-based teams to address barriers to student success, promote school engagement, and support students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning.

Qualifications - Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a School Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor; strong knowledge of adolescent development, mental health, social-emotional learning, behavioral supports, and school-based interventions; demonstrated experience providing individual and small-group counseling and responding to students with a range of social-emotional and behavioral needs; ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and community providers; experience working in a high school setting is preferred with a demonstrated commitment to professional growth, integrity, collaboration, and student success.

This is a grant-funded position and is contingent upon the continued availability of grant funding.

Pay range: $50,692 - $119,013 depending on Chapter 74 experience
