School Adjustment Counselor
- Maintain a caseload of IEP, 504, and general education students
- Provide individual and group therapeutic counseling to students
- Meet with students and families to address social and emotional issues that impact education
- Consult with teachers and staff to provide social-emotional learning within the classroom
- Provide crisis intervention services
- Participate in the IEP and/or 504 process
- Collaborate with the Principal, School Psychologist, and Behaviorist as part of the Behavior Support Team
- Work as a team member with assistant principal for crisis and grade level support
- Serve as a liaison between DCF and the school
- Make referrals to mental health and other community resources
- Massachusetts DESE School Adjustment Counselor licensure required
- LMHC/LICSW licensure preferred
