Legacy Staffing has partnered with a world-class university and healthcare institution in Cleveland, OH to hire a Scheduling Coordinator. This is a first-shift opportunity (working 8:30 AM - 5 PM; 37.5 hours) with a pay rate of $18.44/hour. This role focuses on coordinating patient appointments, supporting dental students and faculty, and ensuring efficient scheduling operations within a fast-paced dental clinic environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, coordinate, confirm, and manage patient appointments for dental students and graduate programs. 
  • Handle appointment cancellations and fill open appointment times to maximize clinic efficiency. 
  • Answer incoming calls, return patient messages, and direct patients to the appropriate departments and specialty clinics. 
  • Coordinate appointments across multiple dental specialties and assist patients with follow-up scheduling. 
  • Maintain accurate patient information within the electronic health record system. 
  • Serve as a resource for dental students, residents, faculty, and staff regarding scheduling procedures and clinic operations. 
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide outstanding patient care while supporting student clinical education. 

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required. 
  • Minimum of one year of customer service, scheduling, medical office, administrative, or related experience. 
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems. 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. 
  • Dental office experience or knowledge of dental terminology preferred but not required.
