To continue providing a high degree of quality healthcare, Christ Community Health is seeking a capable and attentive Scheduling Coordinator to join its care teams.

What You'll Do

The Scheduling Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring timely access to care for patients by organizing the centralized scheduling functions. Ultimately, coordinating provider schedules, optimizing appointment availability, supporting patient flow, and delivering exceptional customer service.

• Coordinate new patient intake, follow-up appointments, and same-day appointments to maximize productivity according to work commitment
• Communicate appointment expectations clearly, ensuring patients understand required documents, arrival times, and ensure patients have received adult new patient packet (if applicable) prior to arrival
• Support schedule optimization by monitoring no-show patterns, filling cancellations, and identifying opportunities to improve access
• Communicate schedule changes with site leadership and front office staff to ensure seamless workflow

Coordinate with operations leadership to align scheduling templates with productivity goals and patient access standards

• Provide recommendations to enhance scheduling workflows and the patient experience

What We're Looking For in a Candidate

• Communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively across clinical and administrative teams
• Proficiency with computers, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office
• High school diploma or equivalent associate degree in health administration or related field
• 2 years of experience in a healthcare scheduling, call center, or front office role

Preferred

• An associate's degree in health administration or related field
• Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW)
• Prior work conducted in a primary care or FQHC setting
