Summary of Job Description:

The Scheduling Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing complex, cross-functional Human Resources initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness, associate experience, and business transformation. This role works closely with HR leadership, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver high-impact projects across areas. The Scheduling Compliance Manager is responsible for Predictive Scheduling (Fair Work Week) compliance, leading enterprise rollout and sustainment of requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for end-to-end program for Predictive Scheduling (Fair Work Week) compliance, leading enterprise rollout and sustainment of requirements supported by the Legion workforce system. Accountable for program strategy, execution, and sustained compliance outcomes across jurisdictions.
  • Translates regulatory requirements into scalable HR programs and operational standards, ensuring Predictive Scheduling laws (e.g., advance scheduling notice, schedule change premiums, access to hours) are clearly defined, documented, and consistently executed in partnership with Operations and Payroll.
  • Leads cross-functional execution across HR, Legal, Operations, IT, Payroll, and Legion (vendor), serving as the central program owner to align priorities, define business requirements, and deliver integrated compliance solutions.
  • Establishes and drives program governance, timelines, and accountability, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and operational gaps while providing leadership with transparent updates on progress and compliance exposure.
  • Drives change management and field adoption including training and regular connect with Operations, embedding compliant scheduling practices into daily operations through training, communication, and leader enablement.
  • Leverages Legion-enabled data, reporting, and audit insights to monitor compliance performance, identify trends and root causes, and continuously improve program effectiveness in response to regulatory updates and business needs.

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum five years of relevant work experience with increasing management responsibility, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: M2: $112,500 - $158,000 / Annual

  • Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
